LOOK AT ME, MAKING FUN OF THE GUY PAYING TO ADVERTISE ON MY SITE. But alas, I kid. John Streetz is an awesome guy, one of the first people I met through UGM. He linked to UGM early on in its run, and helped garner me a great deal of my early readership.

But John, in all seriousness, your frontpage constitutes an unusually large download.

I’m a total web geek, so you must forgive my extended meditations on this new site. The servers over there must have some fat pipes indeed. But the site looks nice and is laid out well, so props to the dev team . Also, and I realize this is asking a lot of them, but I really wish they had built a mobile-friendly version of the new site. Perhaps it’s on the way?

Anybody else think the Shards of Alara art is disproportionately horny?
